VOLUNTEER

As a volunteer at Operation Ten City, you’ll serve a citywide effort dedicated to restoring hope and unlocking potential in youth/next generation leaders, business owners, and entrepreneurs.

We welcome adults, ages 19+, who have an interest in serving their community and creating a welcoming environment for others to volunteer in various capacities throughout the two-day, mega event.

Volunteer opportunities for Operation Ten City: Are as described below.

Greeters

Greeters are the first impression of Operation Ten City as attendees enter the venue. Greeters are needed to welcome and direct attendees to the appropriate locations according to the schedule.

Comfortable and modest attire is expected. Greeters should be able to stand for extended periods; therefore, comfortable footwear is suggested. Warm and welcoming greeters are needed to serve on Friday and Saturday.

Information/Check-In Table

The Check-In table is operated by Bill Winston Ministries staff, but we welcome volunteer assistance for coverage when staff members take breaks. The Information/Check-In table is positioned in a visible place to offer information, directions, schedules and instructions. Attendees who want to enter our giveaway can also do so at this table.

As with all volunteer positions, working at the Check-In table requires good customer service skills, a pleasant attitude, and a friendly smile. The dress code is casual and comfortable. We welcome you to serve one or two hours on either Friday or Saturday.

Ushers

Volunteer ushers serve alongside our Bill Winston Ministries staff ushers, performing various duties including, but not limited to, distribution of giving envelopes and raffle tickets, passing offering receptacles, and errands inside the venue as needed. Ushering skills and experience are a plus, but not required.

Volunteer ushers should dress in business casual attire for daytime sessions and dress attire for evening sessions.
